Not really viable for a ISP 1GB service link to the WAN, BUT perfectly viable for isp speeds below 400MBbpsĪnother pfsense install switching to OPNsense and this time with hardware from netgate. Tested with iperf3 getting about 325-350Mbps on the WAN interface in a closed loop 1gig lan/lab. Edit: added source for boot troubleshooting below.
